HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS (MARCH 13, 2017) – Two teenagers were critically injured in a collision on Monday evening on Decker Drive, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened in the 7500 block of Decker Drive in Harris County. An 18 year old and a 17 year old were inside a GMC pickup truck and traveling at a high rate of speed down Decker when a big rig pulled out of a business driveway. The pickup was unable to stop in time and skidded underneath the semi truck.
The two teenagers were trapped inside the crushed pickup truck and had to be extracted by firefighters. The driver, an 18 year old male, and his 17 year old passenger were both flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital in unknown condition. The accident remains under investigation.
