HARDIN COUNTY: Michael Ray Terry and Casey Cox Dead after Boating Accident

HARDIN COUNTY, TENNESSEE (April 27, 2017) – Two men were killed in an accident at the Pickwick Dam on Wednesday, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 11:00 am when the flat bottomed boat occupied by the two men was sucked into the spillway portion of the dam. The crash was noticed a short time later and the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency was notified.

32 year old Casey Cox and 69 year old Michael Ray Terry were both found later that day, and both were tragically pronounced dead. An investigation is ongoing into the accident at this time.
