The accident happened around 5:25 pm at the intersection of San Tomas Expressway and Scott Boulevard. 31 year old Harbrinder Singh was riding a 2012 red Triumph motorcycle north on San Tomas when he stopped at the intersection with Scott Boulevard at a red light. When the light turned green, he entered the intersection. Meanwhile, a minivan traveling east on Scott Boulevard entered the intersection on a yellow or red light and crashed into Singh’s motorcycle.
Harbrinder Singh was rushed to Valley Medical Center, where he was tragically pronounced dead as a result of his injuries. The driver of the minivan, identified only as a 31 year old man, remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. The investigation is ongoing at this time to determine cause and liability, and it is unknown why the minivan entered the intersection without the right of way.
“Sadly, there are no words that can comfort all the family members and friends of Harbrinder Singh as they cope with such tragic loss,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all parties affected in this tragedy as they try to piece together what happened.”
