
California Highway Patrol Investigating Fatal Crash
GUSTINE, CALIFORNIA (December 9, 2016) – A deadly auto accident occurred on Highway 152 near the Romero Visitor Center on Friday afternoon, reported the California Highway Patrol. (map)
The collision occurred at about 5:15 p.m. on the eastbound lanes of SR-152, just past the Romero Visitor Center.
According the CHP incident log, the crash possibly involved three vehicles. One vehicle lost two tires and another vehicle lost one.
The cars involved were described as a small Toyota truck and a Dodge pickup truck.
Emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene and reported one person died in the accident. The identify of the deceased victim has not been released at this time.
