“Two Car Collision”
GRIDLEY, CALIFORNIA (January 19, 2017) – Two vehicles were involved in a collision on Thursday morning at the intersection of Highway 99 and Township Road, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 7:30 am at the intersection of Highway 99 and Township Road. A white Chevrolet Tahoe and a maroon PT Cruiser were involved in an accident for unknown reasons. Initial reports indicate the PT Cruiser may have pulled out in front of the Tahoe, but that has not been confirmed. Reports also indicate one person described as an elderly man was seen outside of one of the vehicles after the accident.
At least one person was injured, and emergency medical personnel responded to the scene. Towing services responded to help clear the affected vehicles. The accident remains under investigation to determine cause and liability, and anyone with information should contact the local police department.
