“Automobile Crashes into Pizza Shop”
GRASS VALLEY, CALIFORNIA (March 23, 2017) – Seven people were injured after a vehicle collided into a Papa Murphy’s Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza restaurant Thursday evening, according to Nevada County Consolidated Fire District news release. (map)
The Grass Valley Fire Department were dispatched to the Papa Murphy’s Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza restaurant in the Fowler Center at approximately 5:52 p.m. A vehicle plowed into the restaurant and rested 20 feet inside, according to a news release.
Seven people sustained minor injuries form the collision. Two victims of the crash were transported to Sierra Nevada Hospital for treatment of the injuries sustained in the crash. The five other victims were treated at the scene. The identities of the victims of the crash were not released. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
