GRAND TERRACE , CALIFORNIA (May 26, 2017) – A Nissan Altima was involved in an accident on the 215 Freeway on Friday, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol. (map)

The accident happened around 8:00 am on the northbound side of the 215 Freeway near Barton Road. A silver Nissan Altima struck a parked construction truck on the right shoulder for an unknown reason.

At least one person from the Altima was hospitalized after the accident with unknown injuries. There did not seem to be any injuries from the parked vehicle. The accident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
