GRAND MOUND, WASHINGTON (August 27, 2017) – A 61 year old man was killed in an accident on Interstate 5 on Sunday morning, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident was the third in a group of chain reaction crashes. A semi truck was attempting to slow down due to the previous crashes when it collided with two vehicles, then swerved into a Hyundai Accident. The semi truck then swerved again, striking three more vehicles. Out of the seven total vehicles, three were passenger cars and four were semi trucks.
The driver of the Hyundai Accent, a 61 year old man, was tragically killed in the accident. His identity has not been confirmed, but the investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
