GRANADA HILLS, CALIFORNIA (March 3, 2017) – A motorcyclist identified as 19 year old Phoenix Anderson was killed in an accident on the 5 Freeway on Friday evening, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 9:15 pm on the northbound side of Interstate 5, near Roxford Street. A 2003 Yamaha motorcycle was traveling northbound when it rear ended a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban SUV for an unknown reason, then struck a 2016 Hyundai Sonata as well.
The motorcyclist, identified as Phoenix Anderson, was tragically killed in the collision. None of the parties inside the Suburban or the Sonata reported any injuries. The investigation into the accident is ongoing to determine cause and liability.
