GLEN ELLEN, CALIFORNIA (December 27, 2016) – Two men injured Tuesday in a head on collision on Highway 12 have been identified as Ryan Ellis and Micahel Jean, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 9:00 pm on Highway 12 near Sylvia Drive. 22 year old Ryan Ellis was driving eastbound on Highway 12 in a 2010 Dodge Charger, when he attempted to cross into the westbound traffic lanes to pass eastbound traffic. He then collided with westbound Micahel Jean, a 59 year old man driving a 2001 Ford F-250.
Micahel Jean and Ryan Ellis were both injured in the ensuing collision, and both were hospitalized. Ellis suffered two broken legs, and Jean was moderately injured as well. Ryan Ellis is believed to have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident, and the investigation is ongoing at this time.
