TRINIDAD, CALIFORNIA (March 23, 2017) – 25 year old Glen A. Roe Jr has been identified as the man killed in a tragic accident on Thursday afternoon on the 101 Freeway, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 3:45 pm on the northbound side of the 101 Freeway, near 6th Avenue. A 26 year old man under the influence of alcohol was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado north on the freeway when he veered off the road and landed in a creek, trapping his passenger inside the wrecked vehicle.
25 year old Glen Roe, a front seat passenger, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, identified as 26 year old Victor Manuel Herrera, sustained major injuries and was treated before being arrested for DUI and vehicular manslaughter. The investigation is ongoing.
