GILROY, CALIFORNIA (January 3, 2017) – At least four vehicles were reportedly involved in a collision on Tuesday morning on State Route 25, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 6:40 am on Tuesday on State Route 25 near the 101 Freeway. The accident was initially reported as a two car accident, involving a Ford Taurus and a white pickup truck, then later the report was amended to include a black Toyota Avalon and a maroon Honda Accord as well.
Two young women were reportedly injured in the accident, and a 16 year old girl had to be extricated from one of the cars by responding emergency personnel. The accident remains under investigation to determine cause and liability.
