GARDEN GROVE: Pedestrian Dead, Hit by Car on Haster Street and Lampson Avenue

“Pedestrian Killed”

GARDEN GROVE, CALIFORNIA (December 15, 2016) – A pedestrian was killed after she was struck by a car at the intersection of Haster Street and Lampson Avenue, according to local news sources. (map)

The accident happened just after 7:00 pm at the intersection of Lampson Avenue and Haster Street. The pedestrian, identified only as a female, was crossing Haster Street outside of a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a Honda Accord.

The woman was rushed to UCI Medical Center but was tragically pronounced dead a short time later. The driver of the Honda Accord remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities as they attempt to decipher cause and liability.

“According to experts drivers are responsible the majority of the time for pedestrian accidents. These collisions occur when drivers are careless and fail to yield in a crosswalk or when they turn right on a red light without looking out for a pedestrian,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law, a personal injury law firm.
