GGPD Lieutenant Tom DaRe reported that a 2004 Nissan 350z, driven by 31-year-old David Colon, crashed into Perdue around 6:45 p.m. on December 5 and fled the scene of the accident. Colon was found shortly after and arrested. Perdue was pronounced dead at UCI Medical Center on December 15.
“It saddens me that an innocent victim has been killed at the hands of a reckless hit-and-run driver. It’s only a matter of time before authorities locate the responsible individual and bring justice upon them,” said a California hit-and-run accident and personal injury lawyer.
