FULTON COUNTY, GEORGIA (April 24, 2017) – Four students were killed in a tragic accident on Monday afternoon, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 1:17 pm on Highway 92 (also known as Campbellton-Fairburn Road) and Ridge Road. A silver Lincoln Navigator carrying five teenagers reportedly ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into a semi-truck which was entering the intersection.
The driver and three of the passengers were killed in the accident. The remaining teenager, a female in the rear seat, was extricated by responding firefighters and taken to a local hospital. All five teenagers were students at Langston Hughes High School. The accident remains under active investigation to determine cause and liability at this time.
