The accident happened around 7:20 pm on Brea Boulevard and Bastanchury Road. A pedestrian identified only as a female was struck by a car of unidentified make and model.
The pedestrian was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries following the accident. The accident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
“According to experts drivers are responsible the majority of the time for pedestrian accidents. These collisions occur when drivers are careless and fail to yield in a crosswalk or when they turn right on a red light without looking out for a pedestrian,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law, a California pedestrian accident and personal injury law firm.
