FULLERTON: Semi Truck Crashes into Fullerton Apartment Building

“Investigation Ongoing”

FULLERTON, CALIFORNIA (April 30, 2017) – A semi truck crashed into an apartment building on Sunday in Fullerton, according to a local news source. (map)

The yellow cab semi truck was reportedly heading eastbound on Imperial Highway in the 600 block, when for an unknown reason it veered to the right, jumped the curb, and hit an apartment building. The truck crumpled into the building and caused extensive damages.

The two people inside the cab of the semi truck, a 44 year old male driver and a 42 year old female passenger, were rushed to UCI Medical Center with serious injuries after the accident. A few people inside the apartment complex suffered minor injuries as well and five apartments were evacuated after being deemed uninhabitable. The incident remains under open investigation.

“Police will gather evidence and conduct interviews with the drivers and witnesses to determine liability” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm. “Any injured party involved in an accident will have a bodily injury claim against the negligent driver who caused the accident.”
