ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA (May 7, 2017) – A Honda Accord crashed into a big rig on the 91 Freeway on Sunday, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 4:00 am on the eastbound 91 Freeway near the Lemon Street exit. A woman driving in the far left lane in a dark grey Honda Accord reportedly began to hydroplane and veered underneath the big rig, becoming wedged beneath it.
The female driver was injured, and was hospitalized after the accident. The driver of the semi truck was not injured in the collision. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
