FULLERTON, CALIFORNIA (February 13, 2017) – According to the Fullerton Police Department, a 7-year-old girl was killed and her mother was injured on Monday in a three-car collision on Kimberly Avenue and Acacia Avenue. (map)
FPD Sergeant Jon Radus reported that a 2001 Hyundai Elantra, occupied by the 7-year-old girl identified as Perla Olivaros and 42-year-old mother Maria Bracamonte, was traveling westbound on Kimberly Avenue around 4:05 p.m. when it was broadsided by a 2004 Nissan Altima causing the Elantra to spin out and crash into a 2013 Toyota Tundra.
Sergeant Radus stated that the 7-year-old girl and the 42-year-old woman was extricated from the vehicle and transported to a hospital where the 7-year-old girl succumbed to her injuries while her mother sustained major injuries.
