FRIANT, California (December 14, 2016)– A four car pileup crash on Highway 41 near Road 208 claimed the life of 40-year-old Brian Chilcott of Mariposa. The crash occurred on Highway 41 near Road 208.
Chilcott was one of six people involved in the four-car pileup accident that occurred around 9:45 a.m. on December 14th. According to reports, one victim suffered a head injury and another suffered from a broken leg.
A Skyline helicopter arrived at 10:10 a.m. in order to airlift Chilcott to the Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno where he succumbed to fatal injuries. The other injured victims were transported to this same hospital.
The accident is still under investigation and DUI causes have not been ruled out.
