FRESNO, CALIFORNIA (February 18, 2017) – At least one person was killed in a two car accident on Saturday morning at the intersection of Chateau Fresno and Kearney Boulevard, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 9:40 a.m. at the intersection of Kearney Boulevard and Chateau Fresno. A woman, driving a white Prius, was heading north on Chateau Fresno, when she entered the intersection and was struck on the driver’s side by a black car heading east on Kearney.

The woman inside the white Prius, identified as Mary Lynn Barber, was tragically declared dead at the scene by responding paramedics. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
