“Motorcycle vs. Vehicle Collision”
FRESNO, CALIFORNIA (May 7, 2017) – A motorcyclist and passenger were involved in a a vehicle collision on Kearney Boulevard near the Kearney Park entrance Sunday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol. (map)
The accident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. Three motorcycles were traveling eastbound on Kearney Boulevard when a motorist traveling westbound, failed to stop while making a left turn into the park and the motorcycle hit the vehicle causing the motorcyclist and the passenger to be thrown from the bike, according to CHP officer Ryan Murakoshi.
Police officials arrived at the scene to find the the woman passenger lying on the ground and the male rider was up and walking. Teh driver of the vehicle and his passenger, a pregnant woman sustained no injuries. CHP officials do not believe that excessive speed, drug and or alcohol were factors in the accident.
