Based on initial reports, the 46-year-old rider of a Yamaha V Star cruiser-style motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Figarden, approaching Brunswick, and a 31-year-old woman was westbound on Figarden.
The woman mistakenly drove into an eastbound traffic lane because she thought it was a westbound turn lane. The motorcycle and the car collided in a head-on fashion.
The crash remains under investigation.
