FRESNO, CALIFORNIA (March 1, 2017) – A man and his daughter were involved in a pedestrian versus car accident morning Wednesday on Shields and Teilman Avenue, according to the Fresno Police. (map)
A pedestrian and his 12-year-old daughter were crossing Shield Avenue traveling south, when the driver of a white pickup truck, traveling westbound on Shields Avenue, struck the male pedestrian.
The white pickup truck fled the scene continuing west on Shields Avenue. The male pedestrian sustained major injuries to his head and body. Fortunately, the child was not injured in the collision.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the whereabouts of the driver of the white pickup truck. Anyone with information regarding the location of the driver of the white pickup truck is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP. Information that may lead to an arrest may lead to a cash reward.
