
California Highway Patrol Investigating Highway 880 Crash
FREMONT, CALIFORNIA (December 10, 2016) – The California Highway Patrol reported injuries in a car accident that occurred on the 880 North Freeway and southbound Stevenson Boulevard off-ramp on Saturday. (map)
According to the CHP report, a black Mercedes Benz was traveling at a high rate of speed and weaving in and out of traffic. The Mercedes crashed into a red Jeep, causing both vehicles to overturn. One vehicle came to a rest on it’s roof while the other fell down an embankment.
The number of people injured and the extent of injuries was no disclosed in the report. Emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene and provided medical attention to the injured victims.
The California Highway Patrol will issue a report after a thorough analysis of the evidence.
