FREMONT, CALIFORNIA (January 12, 2017) – 96 year old Barbara Lyon was killed in a two car accident on Thursday morning on Fremont Boulevard and Parish Avenue, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 6:56 am at the intersection of Parish Avenue and Fremont Boulevard. 96 year old Barbara Lyon was driving a Toyota Corolla, when she was t-boned on the driver’s side by a pickup headed northbound on Fremont Boulevard.

Barbara Lyon was tragically pronounced dead at the scene as a result of her injuries. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
