The bus, carrying nine students at the time of the accident, was involved in a collision with a pickup truck and an SUV at the intersection of Brook Street and Water Street. The impact sent the pickup truck over onto its side with serious damage.

Miraculously, the driver of the pickup truck escaped the collision with moderate injuries. He has been identified as being in his 50s, and he was airlifted from the scene as a precaution. A woman from the SUV was taken to a hospital with minor to moderate injuries as well. The 9 students on board the bus and the driver were reportedly not injured, and the accident remains under investigation at this time.

“Police will gather evidence and conduct interviews with the drivers and witnesses to determine liability” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm. “Any injured party involved in an accident will have a bodily injury claim against the negligent driver who caused the accident.”
