“Construction Accident”
FISHKILL, NEW YORK (December 10,2016) – 58 year old James “Jim” Parisella was killed in a tragic accident on Saturday at the GAP Inc Distrbution Center construction site in Fishkill, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened in the afternoon at a construction site for the new GAP distribution center off of Merritt Boulevard. Jim Parisella was operating a Komatsu excavator when a piece of steel beam pierced the cab of the excavator.
Jim Parisella was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. He is survived by many family members, including three children and five grandchildren, a wife, and a twin brother. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. The investigation into the tragic accident is ongoing.
