The small plane crashed around 5:30 pm near Washoe and Nees. A small plane carrying five passengers slid off the runway for an unknown reason as it attempted to land.
At least one of the five passengers reportedly on board was hospitalized, but all are believed to have sustained injuries. The accident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
