FILMORE, CA (March 4, 2017) – Two people were found lying in the roadway after two vehicles collided on eastbound Highway 126, just east of Fish Hatchery Road on Saturday afternoon. (map)

The accident occurred around 3:45 p.m. California Highway Patrol reported a black Honda Accord and a red pickup truck were involved in a head-on crash. Two people were found in the roadway and an ambulance was called for medical attention.

The paramedics confirmed that the victims sustained non-life threatening injuries. Smoke was also reportedly seen coming out of the vehicles. The accident is currently under investigation to determine the cause and liability.
