FALLBROOK, CALIFORNIA (February 15, 2017) – A 79 year old woman was killed and five others were injured in an accident on Wednesday on Highway 395 near Dulin Road, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 2:45 pm at the intersection of Old Highway 395 near Dulin Road. A 79 year old woman was driving a 2005 GMC southbound when she skidded into the path of a 2010 Acura traveling northbound, causing a collision.
The 79 year old woman was tragically pronounced dead at a local hospital. Her 57 year old passenger was also rushed to Palomar Medical Center with major injuries. The driver of the Acura, identified as a 39 year old female, a 38 year old male passenger, and two children were rushed to the hospital as well. The accident remains under active investigation to determine cause and liability.
