FALLBROOK, CALIFORNIA (January 22, 2017) – A man’s body was found during the search for a missing toddler in the 4800 block of Fifth Street on Sunday, according to a local news source. (map)

A witness first called around 4:15pm after they saw a boy clinging to an object in the flooding creek, who was then washed away. While searching for the child, responders then located the body of a man.

The man was found behind the Rainbow Oaks Restaurant off Old Highway 395 near the 4800 block of Fifth Street. The accident is ongoing, and the search for the missing child is still ongoing. A car was found upside down in the creek nearby that may have been related to the incident.
