FALLBROOK, CALIFORNIA (December 15, 2016) – According to the California Highway Patrol, 73-year-old Patrick Joseph Germon was killed in a three-car crash on South Mission Road and Green Canyon Road. (map)
CHP public affairs Officer Jim Bettencourt reported that a 2008 GMC Sierra, driven by Germon, was waiting in a line of cars at a stop sign when he pulled into the intersection into the path of northbound traffic. A 1999 Ford F-150 collided with the Sierra.
Officer Bettencourt states that Germon was pronounced dead at the scene while the passengers of the Ford were transported to Palomar Medical Center with upper-body pain.
