SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA (April 11, 2017) – Fabian Zepeda was identified as the motorcyclist that was killed in an accident on Macy Street on Tuesday morning, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 9:10 am at the intersection of Macy Street and Adams Street. A Ford Taurus crashed into a telephone pole for an unknown reason, causing the pole to snap in half. A tension wire then became stretched across Macy Street as a result. 27 year old Fabian Zepeda was riding a motorcycle southbound on Macy Street when he struck the tension wire.
Fabian Zepeda was tragically pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his injuries. The accident remains under investigation by the San Bernardino Police Department and the California Highway Patrol at this time to determine cause and liability.
