EUREKA: Two Car Crash on Highway 255 at Samoa Bridge

“Investigation Ongoing”

EUREKA, CALIFORNIA (May 30, 2017) – Two cars were involved in a collision on Highway 255 near the Samoa Bridge on Tuesday, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 9:12 am on the westbound side of Highway 255 on the Samoa Bridge. A bluish green car reportedly attempted to pass a truck, and struck the guardrail before crashing into another vehicle. One of the vheicles was reportedly a Subaru Forester.

At least one person sustained a head injury in the accident, and paramedics responded to the scene. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
