ESCONDIDO, CALIFORNIA (January 23, 2017) – A man was killed, and a woman and two children were injured in an accident on Interstate 15 on Monday, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened in the evening of January 23rd, on Interstate 15 near Highway 78. A man got out of his Lexus SUV parked near the center divider, and was subsequently hit by a 2013 Honda Civic.
The man was tragically pronounced dead at the scene, and three people inside the Lexus were rushed to the hospital, including a woman, a 4 year old girl, and a 1 year old boy. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
