Police searching for reckless hit-and-run driver
ESCONDIDO, CALIFORNIA (December 8, 2016) – A young 21-year-old man was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident while he was crossing the street near his home, on his way to a special needs event on Thursday, reported ABC news.
Bobby Walker, who has autism, survived being hit, but suffered a shattered left arm, injured hand and many scrapes and bruises.
Police believe the vehicle was a grey or silver, possibly a Nissan Altima or Nissan Sentra 2000s model with likely front end and windshield damage.
Escondido Police are asking anyone with information on who the driver may be to call them at (760) 839-4717.
“It saddens me that an innocent, young man was seriously injured due to the reckless actions of a hit-and-run driver. We are hopeful that justice will be served and we wish Bobby Walker a swift and steady recovery,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law, a California personal injury law firm.
