Erik Lee Harris Killed in Semi Truck Accident on State Road 710 near Amaryllis Avenue

INDIANTOWN, FL (October 12, 2017) – Erik Lee Harris was identified as the man killed in a tragic semi truck accident on Thursday morning, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 6:45 am on State Road 710. A semi truck heading westbound on State Road 710 near Amaryllis Avenue crossed over the center line for an unknown reason and struck the front of four separate vehicles before veering off the road.

Erik Lee Harris, a 46 year old from Keystone Heights, was tragically identified as the man killed in the accident. Three other people suffered injuries in the crash and were hospitalized. The semi truck driver did not appear to be injured, and was driving a Southeast Milk truck at the time of the accident. The tragedy remains under active investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
