CAMDEN, OHIO (September 12, 2017) – 3 year old Emerie Hudson was tragically confirmed to have been killed as a result of a semi truck accident on US 127 on Tuesday afternoon, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 3:00 pm at the intersection of US 127 and Route 725, also known as Central Avenue. 3 year old Emerie Hudson was in a Jeep Cherokee with her parents, traveling eastbound on Route 725. As they entered the intersection on a green light, a big rig traveling southbound on US 127 reportedly ran a red light and t-boned the family car.

Emerie Hudson was tragically killed in the accident, as were her parents Melissa and Schon Hudson. Initial reports from investigators and witness statements point to the semi truck having run a red light, and possibly traveling at a high rate of speed. The driver of the semi is in a medical induced coma, and has been cited. The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.

“Sadly, there are no words that can comfort all family members and friends affected by this tragic accident,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all those involved.”
