ELK GROVE, CALIFORNIA (May 10, 2017) – Three vehicles wree involved in a collision on State Route 99 on Wednesday morning, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol. (map)
The accident happened around 9:30 am on the northbound side of the 99 Freeway near Sheldon Road. A white Chevrolet Trailblazer, a white semi truck, and a white pickup truck were involved in a collision for an unknown reason.
At least one person sustained injuries in the accident, and paramedics responded to the scene. The extent of injuries suffered in the accident is unknown at this time, but the investigation is ongoing to determine cause and liability.
