“Stolen Tow Truck Collision”
EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA (April 16, 2017) – A AAA Tow truck was involved in a building collision on the 700 block of Sepulveda Boulevard early Sunday morning, according to the El Segundo Police Department. (map)
The accident occurred at approximately 1:17 a.m. A video, by from the guards observing Chase Bank on 780 S. Sepulveda Boulevard, shows a stolen AAA flatbed truck backing into the glass of the bank’s front entrance, according police officials.
The truck was stolen from Ontario and was later found abandoned near Culver Boulevard and Motor Avenue in Culver City. No injuries were reported. However, the ambulance showed up as a precaution. An investigation is ongoing.
