Eduardo Gutierrez, 55, Tragically Dies While Changing Tire on I-10

“Tow-Truck Collision”

REDLANDS, CALIFORNIA (July 8, 2017) – 55-year-old Eduardo Gutierrez was involved in a tow-truck collision on Interstate 10 near the westbound 210 Freeway, according to San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office press release. (map)

The accident occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m. Gutierrez was parked of the westbound 10 freeway at the westbound 210 interchange changing his tire when a tow truck collided with the car and Gutierrez.

Rescue crews were called to scene and Gutierrez was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries. A SigAlert was issued for approximately two hours. An investigation is ongoing.
