Dyllan Brown, 1, Died in Car Crash on Cajon Boulevard and Devore Road

“Toddler Killed in Solo Car Collision”

SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA (July 31, 2017) – 1-year-old Dyllan Brown was involved in a solo car accident on Cajon Boulevard and Devore Road Monday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol. (map)

The accident occurred at approximately 4:00 p.m. The driver of a 2004 Buick Century, for reasons unknown, lost control of the vehicle and struck a pole on Cajon Boulevard and Devore Road, according the San Bernardino County Coroner’s press release.

Emergency crews arrived on the scene. Brown was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries. Two other children along with the driver were treated at the scene and transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center as well.

Brown was in the left rear passenger section of the vehicle. It is unclear if Brown was properly restrained in a car seat.

An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the collision.
