The accident happened around 7:00 am at the intersection of Gary Road and Lincoln Road in Montrose. An MMR ambulance carrying two paramedics was on its way back to their location in Chesaning when it approached the intersection, driving southbound on Lincoln. The ambulance reportedly ran through a stop sign at the intersection, and collided with a white Chevrolet Impala that was heading westbound on Gary Road.

The driver of the Impala, identified as 21 year old Dustin Sharp, was rushed to a nearby hospital where he tragically succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The ambulance careened off the bridge and down into Misteguay Creek, and the two paramedics inside were both injured as a result of the accident. The accident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.

“Sadly, there are no words that can comfort all family members and friends as they cope with such tragic loss,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all parties affected in this tragedy as they try to piece together what happened.”
