DUBLIN, CALIFORNIA (March 7, 2017) – Three cars were involved in an accident on Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 680, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol. (map)
The accident happened around 2:40 pm on the southbound side of Interstate 680 near the Sunol Boulevard off-ramp. A maroon PT Cruiser, a silver Jaguar, and a silver Honda Civic were involved in an accident for unknown reasons.
At least one person inside the Jaguar, identified as a male, sustained head injuries in the accident. An ambulance responded to the scene to tend to those injured in the accident, and the incident remains under active investigation at this time.
