“Pedestrian vs. Vehicle Fatality”
DUBLIN, CALIFORNIA (February 14, 2017) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 580 near the Hacienda Drive on-ramp Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. (map)
The deadly crash occurred at approximately 1:12 am when the driver of a Red 4-Door Chevrolet Impala collided into the pedestrian on the westbound side of Highway 580 near the Hacienda Drive on-ramp. Rescue crews were dispatched, but sadly, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Chevrolet Impala reported the accident.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
