MINOT, NORTH DAKOTA (March 3, 2017) – A big-rig and truck were involved in an fatal accident on U.S. Highway 52 Friday morning, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol. (map)

The injury collision occurred at approximately 8:00 a.m. when a Freight-liner with a triple trailer combination and a Ford F-150 collided on U.S. Highway 52, according to NDHP. The driver of the Ford F-150 was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Freightliner was airlifted to a hospital in Minot for non-life threatening injuries sustained in the crash. A Sig-Alert was issued in order to clear up the highway. the identities of the two victims were not released.
