The accident happened on Interstate 76 near York Street around 7:20 am. A dark colored pickup truck driving on Interstate 76 drove onto the left shoulder, clipped a semi-truck, veered through a guardrail, and careened down an embankment before flipping over and landing upside down on nearby York Street.

One person inside the pickup truck was killed in the collision and three others were badly injured. Authorities are searching for the involved semi-truck which allegedly left the scene, and the investigation to determine cause and liability is ongoing.
