The accident happened at the intersection of Moreland Avenue and Henrico Road on Tuesday. 13 year old Jyquez Evans was reportedly doing wheelies when he crashed his dirt bike into a box truck. Moments after the crash, an unknown party hopped on Jyquez’s dirt bike and took off with it, leaving the teenager injured in the street.

Jyquez Evans was rushed to a local hospital, and tragically succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday. His mother believes someone bumped his bike and caused him to crash, for the purpose of stealing the dirt bike. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
