PASO ROBLES, CALIFORNIA (April 27, 2017) – A driver was killed in a collision on Highway 101 on Thursday evening, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 11:00 pm on the southbound side of Highway 101 near Stockdale Road. The driver of a pickup truck identified as 25 year old Dean Wyrick was traveling on the highway attempting to pass vehicles. When he tried to pass a 2013 Scion, he side swiped the vehicle. The impact forced Wyrick’s truck off the road, going down an embankment and rolling over.
Dean Wyrick was ejected during the crash, and was tragically pronounced dead as a result of the accident. The investigation into the accident is still ongoing as authorities attempt to determine cause and liability.
“Sadly, there are no words that can comfort all the family members and friends of Dean Wyrick as they cope with such tragic loss,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all parties affected in this tragedy as they try to piece together what happened.”
